Biography
Hey you! I'm an American artist originally from Port Angeles Washington, and I've been drawing ever since I could pick up a pen or pencil and kept going with it my whole life. Throughout my childhood I've been influenced by the works of Disney, Don Bluth, Chuck Jones, my artistic parents and many other artists from the internet over the years as well.
Illustrations:
I've always been intrigued by illustrations in children's books and dreamt of doing some of my own one day. Sure enough, I've been doing so since early 2018 when my aunt asked me to illustrate a children's book she'd been working on! For about four years afterwards, I've illustrated 4 books: "Beloved", "Use Wise Words" "ABC's of Dog Training for Kids", and a sequel that is currently in the works of being edited and published. You can find two of these books available on Amazon!
Design:
I'd enjoy watching animated movies and going to the special features section on whatever animated movie I had on DVD as a kid. I'd always go and look through their character drawings and concept art and designs, and I really enjoyed it. There were a few where they'd even give drawing tutorials on how to draw some of the characters and those were the most fun! Not only that, but I loved watching how these movies were made and also dreamt of maybe one day becoming an animator, 2D and 3D.

Animation:
It wasn't until I was about 14 or 15 that I became more serious about pursuing animation and character design, after watching an animated music video from a (now well known) artist on YouTube who really influenced my current art style. After some time becoming familiar in the field, I'd win in FlipaClip's "Countdown to Christmas" (2018) contest, being one of the first-place winners and got my animation featured in their video! The rest is history, but I will make a comeback sometime soon!
Storytelling:
My storytelling influences have been by some of my favorite childhood books like Angelina Ballerina, Cricket in Times Square, the Warriors series, and books by Roald Dhal (I don't have a specific favorite, they're all great). Comics were a big influence as well; I enjoyed reading the Sunday and daily comics from our local newspaper. Speaking of which, I'm currently in the process of making my dream comic strips, "The Queen of Keys", a slice of life strip inspired by comics such as Calvin and Hobbes, Garfield and my musical influences. I will share that here as soon as I make my first strip, but other than that... I've made unfinished projects such as "Cats", a little chapter book about a black cat named Moonlight & her hummingbird buddy going about their adventures, and a series of books about a white mouse and her little adventures (not to be confused with Stuart Little, mind you). I liked making a lot of adventure stories back then and will continue on with that when I get back into writing.
Music:
Though I mainly illustrate and animate, I do have somewhat of a thing for music. I'm not as skilled, but I do aspire to compose my own music someday, mainly with piano, synths, and possibly relearn viola since I haven't played since elementary/high school. once I've made enough tracks, I'll definitely share them here. My influences in the music field mainly come from listening to Vangelis, and also classic rock artists like Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) and Rush.
